The first wrestler to come down the aisle, makes her in ring debut in the AWA. She stands in at 5’8 and weighing in at 125 pounds!! Hailing from Miami, Florida!! Morgan Star!!!
Miss Independent plays as Morgan Star steps out from the back. Pyro goes off as she smiles on stage. The fans give her a mixed reaction as she makes her way to the ring and slides under the bottom rope. She stands up and points to the crowd as the music fades
Stormy Canyon: And her opponent, standing in at 6’0 and weighing in at 240 pounds!! Hailing from Calgary, Alberta, Canada!!! Starseed!!!
Our Lady Peace's "Starseed" acoustic intro begins to play, the lights dim, and a single red Maple Leaf spotlights on the entryway, the crowd screaming loudly. The heavy drum beat begins, and as the Lead singer screams, 4 pyros crash at the top of the ramp, and out walks the Canadian Phenom...The *Starseed*! He raises his arms in the air, the crowd cheering loudly. He proceeds down the ramp, wearing his lavish red robe, studded with sparkling white rhinesotnes in a Canadian flag on the back. The word "Phenom" is patterned underneath in cursive with an underline. He hops on the apron and walks over to the turnbuckle, climbing up and raising his arms in the air, looking out over the capacity crowd.'Seed comes down from the turnbuckle and takes off his robe, handing it to the ref. He Stretches on the ropes, and looks down, in quiet contemplation, focusing for his match
Tex Martin: I’m curious what this new wrestler can do
Duff Travers: Well she is sure a good looking one!!!
The match gets underway as Starseed locks MorganStar in a standing side headlock. He puts his weight and size advantage to his advantage as he stops the breaks when MorganStar tries to put him in an Irish Whip into the ropes. He holds on to her head as he puts on the breaks and then swings her to the side that causes her to fall on her side. Starseed continues to hold on to the headlock, but this time he sits on the canvas while the new star of the AWA tries to escape his grip. Eventually she manages to escape his grip and then locks him in a wristlock from behind him. She grabs him by the head and then turns him around and then jumps drops him with an inverted neckbreaker. She then goes for the cover, but Starseed manages to kick her off of his chest at the count of one.
Tex Martin: Good move from MorganStar.
MorganStar gets to her feet first, she kicks Starseed in the midsection and then locks him in a standing suplex position and executes a great and powerful Snap Suplex and then goes for the cover. But the referee only manages to count to one as Starseed bench presses the lighter MorganStar off of him
Duff Travers: She is mighty fi… errr good
Tex Martin: Hold your horses Tiger…
MorganStar runs to the ropes and jumps towards Starseed with a flying clothesline, that Starseed manages to counter as he grabs her arm and drops her to the ground and locks her in a Crippler Crossface type move. Trying to gain a submission victory over the youngster, but she manages to grab the ropes with her other arm and that forces the referee to break the hold. Starseed gets up first and grabs MorganStar by the hair and then locks her in a standing Suplex Position and then lifts her up in the air. But just as he lifts her in the air, it is MorganStar that rakes Starseed in the eyes and manages to escape his clutches and executes a victoryroll on Starseed. But he manages to kick out at the final moment
Duff Travers: Damn, that was close!!!
MorganStar senses victory as she measures Starseed and then runs to the ropes for a Moonsault. But just as she manages to run to the ropes it is Starseed that gets up and catches her in his waiting arms and then drops her with a Tombstone Piledriver in the middle of the ring. The referee goes for the three count as Starseed goes for the cover, but MorganStar manages to kick out at the final second as she gets her shoulder up
Tex Martin: That must have been more instinct then anything else. Because I cant see how she could have known about the three count!!!
Starseed gets up and grabs MorganStar and lifts her up to her feet. He locks her up for a suplex, but she delivers a Low Blow and then climbs the turnbuckles as she measures Starseed who is slowly getting to his feet. She jumps off from the turnbuckles with a Hurricanrana, but it is Starseed that manages to catch her and drops her in a Sit Down Powerbomb position and gets the three count victory.
Stormy Canyon: The winner of this match, Starseed!!!
Starseed gets to his feet as he has his hand raised in the air by the referee. He stares at the new signed superstar MorganStar and then helps her to her feet and extends his hand for her to shake. Reluctantly she finally shakes the hand of Starseed as the two get applauded from the fans for giving them a good match.
Stormy Canyon: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the number one contenderspot for the tag titles!!
The fans are getting excited as they hear the announcement
Stormy Canyon: I have been informed by the owners of the AWA that this match has changed to a fatal four way and that they winner of this match can pick his tag team partner to face the champions at this months PPV Bloodline!!!
Tex Martin: Whoa!! That’s a big announcmenet!!!
Stormy Canyon: Currently already in the ring are the competitors Mike Harrison, Dani Vesneski and Mercy Darkfyre!!! And now about to enter the ring, standing in at 7’2 and weighing in at 317 pounds!! Hailing from Billings, MT!! Mack Blackheart!!!
The lights in the arena go black, and a red light is shown flashing. Than the music of Mack Blackheart plays. Mack comes out onto the stage and looks down at his opponent. He raises his fist in the air, and slowly lowers it. He looks around the arena before coming down the ring. As he comes down to the ring he looks dead on to his opponent. Once he get closer to the ring he grabs the ropes with both hands and gets up and climbs over and into the ring. He slowly raises both of his arms and the lights come on and the song slowly fades
Duff Travers: I give my vote to the big guy in a match like this, but I wonder. Who will these wrestlers pick as partner when they win?
The bell has rung as all three wrestlers that were in the ring already charge in on Blackheart, trying to get to him quickly as he is the biggest and strongest of them all. They corner him, but Mack Blackheart suddenly bursts out with a surge of strength as he pushes Mercy Darkfyre off of him and as well as Mike Harrison. Dani Vesneski tries to kick in the knees of Blackheart to get him in an advantage point in the corner. He continues to kick the knee when suddenly Blackheart grabs him by the throat and lifts him up in the air and chokeslams him out of the ring on the concrete floor
Tex Martin: Good God!!! What a chokeslam!!!
Mike Harrison gets up and charges towards Blackheart, who surprises him with a backelbow to the head and then grabs him by the hair and whips him in the corner. He then elbows his way into the corner as he drives his big elbows against the side of the head of Harrison and then grabs him by the arm and goes for a short arm clothesline. This drops Harrison hard on the canvas.
Duff Travers: Oh yeah, the big guy is taking names!!!
Mercy Darkfyre charges in on Black Bone and jumps on his back and digs her nails into his face and eyes. She goes for a chokehold, but the big man grabs her by the neck and slams her forward on the canvas. He grabs her legs and locks her in a big time Boston Crab submission hold and puts all of his weight on her lower back.
Tex Martin: This guy is just cleaning house!!!
Just before Mercy could tap out it is Harrison that gets a kick in the face of Blackheart. This causes the big man to stumble, but he remains on his feet as he lets go off the submission hold. Harrison tries to go for an Irish whip, but Blackheart reverses it and grabs Harrison by the throat and executes a chokeslam. But instead of just letting go off the hold, he lifts him up to his feet once more and again chokeslams him. But instead of holding on to the throat, he just throws him down on the canvas and then goes for the cover.

Stormy Canyon: The winner of this match!! Mack Blackheart!!!
Blackheart gets to his feet and stares at the beaten down Mike Harrison before exiting the ring and walking to the back as he now can pick his tag team partner for the ppv.
Stormy Canyon: The following match is scheduled for one fall and is under television time limits!!! The first wrestler to come down the ring is Jason Stevens!!!
Stevens his music hits as the youngster walks out to the ring with his female entourage.
Stormy Canyon: And his opponent, about to come down the ring!! Chris Shipman!!!
Shipman’s music hits as the Psycho walks to the ring. Just as he is about to enter the ring he gets assaulted by Stevens. The now number one contender for the World Title is battering Shipman in the corner with kicks and punches, Stevens jumps on the second rope and then jumps backwards while holding on to the ropes and drops his knees in the face of Shipman. Stevens drags Shipman closer to the middle of the ring and goes for the cover, but Shipman manages to kick out of the three count
Tex Martin: Some aggressiveness by Jason Stevens today
Stevens lifts Shipman up to his feet and wants to go for an Irish Whip, but Shipman reverses the move and then delivers a big time Spine Buster on the youngster and goes for the cover, but Stevens manages to kick out at the count of two. Shipman gets up, he lifts Stevens up to his feet and goes for an Irish Whip into the ropes and goes for a Back Body Drop, but Stevens manages to execute a Monkey Flip over Shipman and then runs to the other side. There when he comes off the ropes he nails Shipman with a flying forearm.
Duff Travers: That’s a good move from the youngster!!
Stevens goes for the cover, but Shipman kicks out at the final moment. Stevens looks up at the referee and asks for a quicker count, but the referee waves it away as he shows him it was a clear two count. Stevens gets up and starts to pound away at the face of Shipman, before lifting him up to his feet and going for an Irish Whip. This time Shipman stops in his tracks as he holds on to the ropes as we see Stevens going for a dropkick, but landing on his back and holding on to his head in pain. Shipman slowly moves forward towards Stevens and grabs him by the head and lifts him up to his feet. Shipman drives several high knees in the midsection, before slamming him head first into the canvas and going to the ropes and comes off with a fistdrop to the face of Stevens.
Tex Martin: Clearly both men can’t hold on to some momentum when they got it, perhaps Shipman can keep his now.
Shipman lifts Stevens up as he lifts him up for a Body Slam, but just as he is about to slam him down we see Stevens holding on and rolling Shipman into a victory roll like move. The referee goes down to count to three, but Shipman manages to get a shoulder up in time. Stevens cant believe it, but he decides its time to end it all. He lifts Shipman up and goes for a DDT in the middle of the ring. He then climbs the turnbuckles and goes for a Frog Splash, but Shipman rolls out of the way and then grabs Shipman by the head as he goes for a big time DDT in the middle of the ring. Shipman turns around Stevens and covers him for the three count and wins the match.

Shipman gets up and slides out of the ring and heads to the back as the winner of the match
Stormy Canyon: The followign contest is a standard match, scheduled for one fall and is for the International Championship!!! Coming down the asle and standing in at 6’4 and weighing in at 240 pounds!! Hailing from Sacremento, California!!! Aiden Payne!!!
Drowning Pool hits on the PA as red strobe lights flicker on and off. Aiden Payne comes running out from the back, full speed, and immediately stops at the top of the ramp. With a sadistic look on his face, he looks around at the crowd, then throws his devil horns in the air, as fire erupts around him. He then sprints down the ramp and slides into the ring under the bottom rope. He quickly gets to his feet, and taunts the crowd by jumping on the far right turnbuckle, bouncing up and down, with one hand in the air showing devil horns, and his tongue out. He hops off of the ropes and heads to the other corner, sitting in the corner as his music fades
Tex Martin: This guy has the chance to claim AWA gold, the question is… can he do it against the Fat man?
Stormy Canyon: And his opponent, standing in at 6’8 and weighing in at 487 pounds!! Hailing from Seattle, Washington!! The AWA International Champion!! Falimetahos Moordune!!!
The arena lights dim down as the speakers shout out in echo "Only the Greatest Warriors go to Hell!" As it finishes it rolls into "When Worlds Collide" by Powerman 5000, both sides of the entrance explode in red flame as the lights twist to a deep green hue, Falimetahos steps out onto the entrance way accompanied by Celeste Remere his agent and valet. The crowd giving their roar of boo's to the biggest AWA Monster, Falimetahos gives a up yours motion of his arm as he starts down the ramp with Celeste following the International Belt strapped around Celeste's waist. Falim walks up the steps to the squared circle before slipping between the ropes, he raises a single arm roaring back to the crowd with a smirk as he takes off his trench coat and tosses it down to Celeste. Celeste promptly wraps up in the over sized leather coat, handing up the International Championship to the referee. Falim pulls back on the ropes stretching as he stares at his opponent.
Tex Martin: It’s going to be a good one
Duff Travers: Give that guy a burger!!!
The bell rings and Aiden Payne charges in on Falimetahos with a running spear, but the big guy sidesteps and that causes Aiden Payne to hit the steel ring post. Falimetahos quickly grabs him by the waist and delivers a big time Belly to Back Brainbuster Suplex where the neck of Payne gets hit with a big time impact from the monster.
Tex Martin: Good God!!!!
Payne is not moving as the big man pulls himself up by using the ring ropes. The referee is looking on to see how Aiden Payne is doing as suddenly Falimetahos pushes the referee away and grabs Aiden Payne and lifts him up to his feet.
Duff Travers: Uhm, I don’t think I’m going to like this one.
Falimetahos lifts Aiden Payne up to his feet and then delivers a big time Belly to Belly suplex on Aiden Payne and goes for the cover as the referee starts to count to three.
Stormy Canyon: The winner of the match, Falimetahos Moordune!!!!
The Big man gets his title handed to him by the referee and walks to the back as he has gained another big time victory.
Stormy Canyon: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the AWA Tag Team Championship!!! About to enter the ring are the challengers!! They are Nailz and Taxx!! The Gravediggaz!!!!
Their music hits as the challengers walk out to the ring as the fans are cheering them on
Stormy Canyon: And their opponents, they are the tag team of Bill Barnhart and Erik Black!! They are the current AWA Tag Team Champions of the World!!! Black Dog!!!!
No More Mister Nice guy blares on the PA as an explosion goes off on the stage. From behind a curtain of falling water come Erik Black and Bill Barnhart. Barnhart taunts at the fans, While Erik simply stares straight ahead at the ring. The two begin walking down the ramp. Erik breaks into a run and slides under the bottom rope. Bill walks up the steps after Erik. Together the two simply turn and stare at their opponents
Tex Martin: I am looking forward to this one, another big time rematch of the two teams.
The bell rings, Black and Nailz start the match as suddenly from out of the crowd the camera’s look at Mack Blackheart sitting behind the announce table of Tex and Duff.
Duff Travers: What is he doing there?
Tex Martin: Checking out the opposition that’s for sure
Black has Nailz in a standing wrist lock, but Nailz pushes him towards the ropes and then whips him to the other side where Black gets a knee in his back by Taxx. This causes him to drop to his knees as the referee walks over to Taxx and this gives Nailz the chance to attack Erik Black and kicks him out of the ring.
Duff Travers: The Diggaz are starting to get mean and I like it!!!
The referee turns around towards Nailz, Nailz distracts the referee as Taxx jumps off the apron and assaults Black. This causes Bill Barnhart to jump off the apron to rescue his partner. But just when he is about to run towards his partner, we see Blackheart get over the security railing and attack the co-champion of the tag team championship while the referee is still distracted by Nailz.
Tex Martin: What the hell?
Black grabs Bill Barnhart by the throat and delivers a big time Choke Slam on the concrete floor and then walks to the back, staring at Nailz and walks away as Taxx throws Erik Black back in the ring.
Duff Travers: We are going to get new tag team champions!!
Tex Martin: Don’t tell me that it is going to end their reign this way!!!
Nailz tags in Taxx as both men start to double team Black. Taxx watches his brother deliver a Spinebuster on Black before he lifts him up to his feet. He puts Black between his legs and goes for a Powerbomb, but Black somehow manages to grab some momentum and deliver a big time Hurricanrana. He holds the legs of Taxx in his arms as he goes for the three count, but Taxx is saved by Nailz as he runs into the ring. The camera’s zoom in on Bill Barnhart, who the back of his head is bleeding from the impact of the move that Blackheart put him through. Inside the ring we see Black trying to get to his feet, but just as he wants to go for his tag team partner he notices that there is no Bill Barnhart. On the other side of the ring we see Taxx tag in Nailz, Nailz runs in and blasts Black across the back of his head and then grabs him by the throat and delivers a destructive Chokeslam in the middle of the ring and then goes for the cover as the referee manages to count to three.
Stormy Canyon: The winners of the match and NEW AWA Tag Team Champions!!! The Gravediggaz
The referee hands them the titles as we suddenly see Mack Blackheart emerge on the entrance way.
A camera turns on backstage and catches Stacy Kissinger with a few papers in her hand coming to a door in a huff. The camera looks at the door and it catches the name of Marisol Hawkes on the name plate.
Stacy: Damn it. She betta be here! The main event is next!
Stacy knocks calmly on the door and then waits, glancing down at her wristwatch. She gets an irritated look on her face before she pounds the door with her fist.
Stacy: Marisol! Yer match is next! Don’t make me bust down the door!
Stacy sighs and backs up.
Stacy: Aight, I’m comin’ in!
She rears back and actually rams her shoulder into the door. The door pops open and the room is completely dark. Stacy searches around for the light as the camera is pointed right into the pitch black room. The room becomes illuminated as Stacy finds the light. No Marisol Hawkes in sight, much to her displeasure.
Stacy: The nerve of her! I grant her a big opportunity tonight and now Staniak won’t even have a wrassler to face!
Stacy stamps out of the locker room all red in the face as the cameraman keeps up with her. Stacy seemingly is headed to the parking lot here at the Utah EnergySolutions Arena. She does get to the main entrance and pushes the door open. There outside stands Marisol Hawkes, just being one with the night.
Stacy: There ya are Marisol! Yer on like…right now!
Marisol: And I won’t be wrestling. I’ve given things a second thought Stacy. All you want from me tonight is to go out there and get creamed against the World Champ. You call THAT an opportunity?
Stacy: Pfft, see if ya get anythin’ from anyone here again Marisol. ‘Cause if ya don’t go to that ring, ya know damn well that Goth’s gonna fire ya!
Marisol: So he needs to send a puppet to tell me thi-
Stacy loses it and snatches for Marisol’s head. She brings Marisol forward and drives her into the sidewalk with the American Kiss before quickly standing back up and dusting herself off.
Stacy: Aight, I asked ya nicely. Now we’re doin’ this the hard way! I’m just gonna drag ya in there kickin’ and screamin’ like a baby!
Stacy really does actually start yanking away at Marisol’s legs. She drags her back into the arena and drags her all the way down the hall towards the wrestler’s entranceway. As the painful journey for Marisol is almost over, the cameras switch over to Tex and Duff at ringside.
Tex: Looks like your favorite woman has just laid down the law Duff.
Duff: You’re not kidding! And it looks like we WILL have a main event here tonight!
Stormy: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is your MAIN EVENT of the evening and is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Essex in England, weighing in at 245, he is the Red Ripper and your World and Asylum Champion…Staniaaaaaak!!!
”Hold Back The Day” by Devildriver hits over the PA system and the crowd knows exactly what’s coming up now. That’s right, the man they all hate, "The Red Ripper" Staniak makes his way out from the back, carrying the AWA Asylum Championship belt on his left shoulder and the AWA World Championship belt on his right. He looks around the arena with an evil look on his face and gives a smirk towards the camera before he makes his way down the ramp. Once at the bottom of the ramp he walks around the ring bad mouthing the fans before sliding into the ring. Staniak jumps on top of the turnbuckle and taunts. He then jumps down, runs to another corner and does the same thing. He jumps down from that turnbuckle and gets ready for his match!
Tex: And there he is, the holder of the Asylum and World Championships at the moment.
Duff: The number one contender, as we found out last week, is sadly Jason Stevens, a man that will just blow the opportunity when he gets to use it!
Tex: That’s probably not on Staniak’s mind tonight. What is on his mind it seems this week is that he feels like he shouldn’t be taking on wrestlers that he considers beneath him. Well, as you always say, Jason can be considered beneath him…and supposedly so is Marisol Hawkes.
Duff: Marisol greater than Stevens. That’s all I have to say on the matter.
Tex: We’re about to find out how a now beaten Marisol Hawkes fairs against our current double champion.
Stormy: And his opponent, from St. Louis, Missouri…she is the Soul Huntress, Marisoool Hawkes!!!
The arena goes dark and two red lights shine on the center of the stage. “All the same take me away we’re dead to the world!” is heard as pyro goes off and “Dead to the World” by Nightwish blares over the loudspeakers. As the song really kicks in, Stacy Kissinger appears from behind the curtain, dragging Marisol Hawkes behind her. The crowd in attendance has a stunned reaction as Stacy drags her all the way down the ramp as Marisol is still knocked out from the American Kiss to the sidewalk outside of the arena doors. Staniak, in the ring, looks down at Stacy and Marisol and just shakes his head. He sighs as Stacy scoops up Marisol and rolls her underneath the bottom rope and into the ring. Stacy then walks over to where Tex and Duff are and puts on the third headset.
Tex: Are you happy with what you’ve done?
Stacy: Eh, these fans here deserve to see a match. What’s done is done. Let’s see how she does against our world champ.
Tex: Probably won’t take but a few seconds. She’s still completely out from what you did to her!
Duff: Hey, no badmouthing the President of Public Relations, Tex! She knows what she’s doing!
Stacy: Yeah, only mistake I made was hiring Marisol Hawkes. But again, she’ll get what she deserves right now. Ref, go ahead and ring the bell. These people wanna see fightin’.
Referee Simon Jones doesn’t like what he sees but calls for the bell to start the match. Staniak looks out at the announce desk to Stacy with his eyebrows raised before slowly turning around and looking down at poor Marisol. He’s about to just cover her when “Halo” by Machinehead starts to play. Jason and Carry Stevens come out from the backstage area and stand on the stage. Jason’s music cuts out.
Tex: And speaking of the aforementioned Jason Stevens, he’s come out to do some scouting it seems!
Duff: It won’t help him any, especially since he already lost to Chris Shipman earlier tonight.
Tex: Every little bit can help though Duff.
Duff: Not when you’re Jason Stevens!
In the ring, Staniak looks out at Jason before looking back down at Marisol. With no more holding out, he scoops Marisol up before plopping her down to the mat with a Side Effect. The crowd ohs as Staniak stands back up and points right at Jason Stevens. Staniak heads for a corner and scales to the top rope. He points out at Jason once again and then down to Marisol before flying off and absolutely nailing poor Marisol with the Fall From Grace. Staniak hooks the legs and Referee Simon Jones mercifully counts the fall.
Referee Jones: 1!

”Hold Back The Day” immediately plays throughout the arena as the crowd boos for such a short main event. Stacy removes the headset and stands up at the announce desk, looking into the ring. Staniak has his arm raised as Jason Stevens just looks down the ramp at the once again victorious World and Asylum Champion.
Tex: Definitely a lot easier than Staniak would have liked, but he’ll take it nonetheless.
Duff: Hey, you forgot to thank Stacy for joining us!
Tex: There’s always next time. |
