the arena lights dim as a screech is heard around the arena Rex is standing in the ring with the Universal title on his shoulder as a man walks out wearing all black and he has on a white stole that has forgiven on one side and respect on the other. The man is wearing a mask that looks to be different fake leather skin tied together with thick threads and the hair is many different hair types and colors. The man stands outside of the ring and the lights dim and shine on Rex. You can not see the man that just came out.
Man: So Brother let me take a minute to speak to you. You have shed blood for that title I heard you loud and clear the last few weeks. However you have my attention and its not because of the title you have on your shoulder. You see I am not here for titles, I am not here to win matches… I am here to save you.
The light on Rex turns red as a video plays it shows things rex has done over his carrier. It shows the path of destruction rex has done. The video ends and the light comes back on and the man is missing. The screen shows the words Forgiven show and the word respect shows. The screen then shows the same man and he is kneeling at a alter looking up at a cross. The man reaches for his mask as the screen goes black.
Rex shakes his head confused as he walks to the back
Stormy Canyon: This following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is our opening match, the first wrestler currently in the ring standing in at 6’2 and weighing in at 208 pounds. Hailing from Parts Unknown!!! Michael Hyde!!!
The fans react mildly towards the wrestler as the music of his opponent starts to play
Stormy Canyon: And his opponent, standing in at 6’1, weighing in at 250 pounds!! Hailing from New Mexico!!! He is accompanied by the New Mexico State Police!!! Glenn “Bloodlust” Frank!!!
“Bodies” By Drowning Pool hits the PA speakers, as red and white strobe lights hit the arena. Blood Lust is seen at the top of the ramp way and makes his way with the state police down to the ring. He pays no attention to the crowd, or anything else. He slides into the ring through the bottom rope, and stands in the center of the ring, looking down. A large explosion goes off and he comes to life ready to tear his opponent apart.
Tex Martin: I’m interested to see those two get it on… I… Wow!!
Even before the bell has rung it is Frank that charges in on Hyde from behind and grabs Hyde by the waist and executes a German overhead released Suplex that sends Michael Hyde crashing down on the canvas with his head bouncing off the canvas several times. Frank gets up quickly and grabs Hyde by the head and lifts him up to his feet and follows it up with a DDT that sends Hyde down on the canvas once more. Hyde is seemingly unconscious as Frank turns him around and covers him for the three count.
Tex Martin: Is this it already?
Duff Travers: Get up clown!!!
The referee slaps his hand on the canvas for the count of three and calls for the bell as he awards the win to Frank.
Stormy Canyon: The winner of the match!! Glenn “Bloodlust” Frank!!!
With that Frank leaves the ring as the New Mexico State Police grabs Hyde and drags him out of the ring.
We turn in with Bill Barnhart in his dressing room as he gets ready to go out and meet Metamania in a Halloween Costume match. We watch as Bill puts on his Freddy Krueger mask and then he walks up behind Iris the English Bulldog.
BULLDOG BILL: Hey Iris get a load of this!
Iris looks up, sees Freddy Krueger, and she screams out, squats and pisses on the floor, then takes off out of the dressing room running down the hallway.
IRIS: Yip yip yip!!!!!
BULLDOG BILL: Har har har! Poor little Bulldog! And now I have to pay to have the carpet cleaned. Damn! Yes, Metamana, I already know that I cannot wear my Freddy Krueger outfit to the ring tonight. Although Freddy Krueger would have been the best costume for me to wear, since nobody can take me out either, Goth has made it quite clear that he will decide what costumes we wear for the match. I just hope mine doesn't have anything to do with a pink thong since we already got a lot of mileage out of it. However, whatever Goth selects for me to wear is fine with me since I will still kick your young ass! If you think I am going to let you to into the Pay-per-View coming off a victory over you, you damn sure better think again! See you in a short time Meta. Damn sure hope you are ready, because I damn sure am!
Barnhart walks over to the dressing room door and peers out the door. He looks up and down the hallway to see if he can see Iris but she is nowhere in sight. Bill just sighs and closes the dressing room door. We now cut back to Tex and Duff who are getting ready to call the next match.
Stormy Canyon: This following contest is scheduled for one fall and the first wrestler currently in the ring standing in at 7’0 and weighing in at 330 pounds. Hailing from Brooklyn, New York!!! Nick Warner!!!
The big man lifts his arm up in the air and the fans respond to him mildly
Stormy Canyon: And his opponent, standing in at 6’7, weighing in at 272 pounds!! Hailing from Moscow, Russia!!!! He is accompanied by his manager Vladimir!! Dmitri!!!
Vampiria's Legacy in Blood hits as the arena goes black and the Titan Tron slowly starts to drip blood until the name of Dmitri appears. Dmitri slowly walks out to the ring with his manager walks in front of him. He does not concern himself for the people that are either exchanging their hands to touch him or to throw their drinks at him. As the two enter the ring his manager opens the ropes for him and allows Dmitri to get in and stare at the people in front of him.
Tex Martin: This one is going to be downright vicious!!!
The Big monster charges in on Dmitri, who sidesteps the big monster and delivers a big time knee in the midsection of Warner. This causes Warner to drop to his knees and Dmitri runs to the ropes and comes hard with a running high knee to the side of Warner’s head. This causes him to fall on the canvas and Dmitri slams his mandible claw submission move down the throat of the big man and starts to choke him out
Tex Martin: Look at Dmitri’s viciousness!!!
Duff Travers: He wasn’t joking this week!!!
Warner tries to fight the hold that Dmitri has slapped on him, but the pain is quickly getting the better of the big man as he taps out from the pain
Stormy Canyon: The winner of the match!!Dmitri!!!
The referee wants to raise the arm of Dmitri in the air. But the monster refuses to let go off the hold as he continues to make Warner suffer until he finally decides to let go off the hold and walks away from a beaten and battered Nick Warner.
We bring ourselves to somewhere backstage, Tyra Foxx, dressed in a sexy white dress, is having a microphone in hand, her eyes darting arond, trying to find someone. Her eyes find the man that she's looking for, who approaches her with a hand extended and a welcoming smile, immediately making her relax. A step behind him is a woman dressed in her wrestling gear, she too also smiles and exchanges quick pleasentries before Tyra Foxx simply gets to the point.
Tyra: Metamania, I know that within the last few weeks, things have been very difficult. You've been beaten by two champions recently, one in a non-title match, the other in a title match. Bill Barnhart is now looking to readjust your attitude of yours in this costume match. With him going into the match as Freddy Kreuger and you...being in a Ewoks costume, how do you plan to readjust his attitude and walk away with a victory finally?
Metamania: You know, I've given some thought of that as I prepared myself for this match and I always come back to the same answer. A mix of both basic and advanced tactics, a premise that's easy to follow. I cannot allow myself any further distractions. I've been playing too many games around here and I've allowed myself to slip up and take the fall in the matches that count the most. NO MORE! After today, Bill Barnhart and I will not only have settled our score with each other, but he will be walking away with the knowledge that I will always be better than him, a fact that some people refuse to accept around here. But I assure you, Tyra, that everyone will eventually will come to pay the price, for they do have a price around here...myself included. And I have every intention of continuing to fight the good fight and to never give in to people's mind games or pressure until my message around here is clear. That I won't be taken for a man that can simply be beaten down by everyone else on the roster! I refuse to go down that path now, Tyra, because I've worked VERY hard to reach this point. Soon, the PPV is coming up and I want another shot at one of the titles! Whether it be Fang or Rex, it makes no difference to me! Hell, I would love to have a Triple Threat match with both of them, with their titles on the line! If that happens, Tyra, I'll gladly go far and beyond the extra mile and kill two birds with one stone! But for now, I'm getting a LITTLE ahead of myself Tyra, so I'll stop there. As far as Bill Barnhart goes, he's not going to be a happy man tonight! Like I said in one of my amazing promos this week, it's going to be an amazing sight to see an Ewok topple a nightmare such as Freddy Kreuger! I think, for the fans, it will not only be amazing, but an amusing sight indeed! Bill Barnhart can puff his big chest and talk all the trash he wants, but action is what really matters the most, so if he fails to back it all up tonight, then we know, once and for all, that is indeed a liar, a fraud, and a hypocrite of his own creation! Me? In my mind, in Freya's mind, not to mention my fans, friends, and families's minds, all respectfully, I am the best the wrestling world has ever seen and tonight, I intend to prove that statement time and again each and every week...or as much as I can anyway! I'm gonna make sure that Bill Barnhart pays for his ridiculous lies and foolish assumptions he's made all week long! Technical? Such crap, Tyra! Tiger Woods badmouthing me? Get real! You see, Bill Barnhart loves to live in a world of his own making, where everything around him is all is perfect! That's fine - I'll be glad to shatter his world into pieces once and for all, Tyra, thus him becoming a victim of my everlasting greatness and growing legacy! I'll see him in the ring very shortly!
Metamania nods and thanks her for the interview, then Freya grabs his hand and leads him away from her, with Tyra Banks lowering her microphone and staring at the couple with a smile on her face as we cut back to the action at hand!
Stormy Canyon: This following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is our special Costumed Attitude Readjustment Match!!!!
The fans explode as they are ready for this match to take place and what costume the two participants will be wearing.
Stormy Canyon: The first wrestler to come down the aisle, dressed up like Freddy Krueger is the member of The Family!!! Bill Barnhart!!!
Instead of Bill’s normal music we hear the infamous Freddy Krueger play where they are doing the counting and the riming. Bill comes out with the Freddy Krueger outfit on. We can see his hairy belly coming from underneath the too tight sweater as it scares the little children off more than the glove he is wearing on his hand. He climbs in the ring and awaits his opponent.
Stormy Canyon: And his opponent, about to come down the ring as an Ewok!! The one and Only!! Metamania!!!
Tex Martin: Can’t wait to see how this looks like!!!
The anthem of Star Wars hits as Metamania comes out to the ring as an Ewok from the final part of the whole Star Wars cycle. The fans are cheering him on as others are even laughing because of how he looks like. Metamania storms into the ring and the match gets under way as Bill Barnhart awaits him in the ring and starts to pound away with some heavy attilary. Bill grabs Metamania up by the head and starts to pound him down with some heavy rights . Bill then whips Metamania in the ropes and as he comes off the ropes it is Bill that tries to jam the glove against the face. But Metamania ducks underneath the fist and uses the speed in his favor by grabbing the arm and whipping his legs around the other as he has gotten behind the member of the Family and uses this move to get Bill of balance and fall backwards as Metamania gets him in a pinning combination. But in the end it is Bill that manages to kcik out
Tex Martin: that was close!!
Duff Travers: But you need more to beat Freddy!!!
Both men get up at the same time as Bill goes for a clothesline, but Metamania manages to sidestep and executes a standing dropkick. This sends Barnhart to the ropes as Metamania runs towards him, He jumps upwards and lands on the upper legs of Bill and grabs him by the head as he is about to execute a modified Back flip. But Bill catches him and delivers a devastating Spine Buster in the middle of the ring and goes for another pin attempt. But the referee manages to only count to two. Bill gets up to his knees and looks at the referee with a questionable look on his face as he wants a three count. The referee shows him that it was merely a count of two and that the match continues. Bill grabs Metamania by the head and lifts him up to his feet. He sets him up for a Vertical Suplex, but somehow Metamania manages to slide out of his grasp and manages to do a backslide and drop Bill for a small package. But this time it is Bill Barnhart that manages to kick out at the pin attempt from his opponent.
Duff Travers: Just to think you almost got pinned by a Ewok… what’s next? Gandalf The White comes down and does a breakdance??
Tex Martin: Cheer up man!! This is a good match!!
Metamania gets up first and hits a flying clothesline towards Bill Barnhart, that sends him staggering towards the ring ropes and gets tied up against the ring ropes. The referee tries to break him free from the ropes, but this gives Metamania the chance to get some free shots into Bill Barnhart. He starts to kick away at his large chest and belly, he then even grabs the legs of Bill Barnhart as he notices that the referee has finally freed him from the ropes and manages to execute a Catapult where Bill’s throat comes in contact with the bottom rope. Metamania quickly drags Bill to the center of the ring and then climbs the turnbuckles and executes a shooting star press on top of Bill Barnhart and goes for the cover as the referee goes for the three count.
Duff Travers: The Wookie should not get it!!!
Tex Martin: It’s an Ewok!!!
Duff Travers: Damn!! I don’t care!!!
Stormy Canyon: The winner of the match!! Metamania!!!
Now Metamania’s original music hits as he celebrates his victory over Bill Barnhart before climbing out of the ring and heading to the back
Tex: Here we go again, another match between Rex and Erik, this time it's a ladder match!
The camera cuts to the middle of the ring, seeing a black briefcase suspended above in the middle of the ring. Another camera shoots the ladder on the outside of the ring, standing at the bottom of the ramp. Then we see Tex and Duff sitting at the announcer's table yet again.
Duff: I wonder what's inside that briefcase, Tex? Any idea?
Tex: Well, it ain't a contract for a shot at a title, that's for sure, so it has to be something really good. Maybe Stormy knows?
We see a wide shot of the crowd from left to right, going completely nuts, before another camera shot cuts in, watching Stormy Canyon entering the ring, with the microphone at hand. She puts the microphone to her lips and speaks to the crowd.
Stormy: This match is scheduled for one fall and it is a Ladder match! Whoever climbs to the top of the ladder and retrieves the black briefcase will have secured themselves $10,000! Introducing first, from Los Angeles, CA, weighing at 225 lbs.....ERIK BLACK!!!!!!!!!!!!
The lights go out before white strobe lights kick on. "MMM I said the fish dont fry in the kitchen". and BOOM! Huge pyros go off. Out steps Erik Black. He has a black towel drapped over his head. He looks around to the crowd and then to the ring. he takes a deep breathe and slowly makes his way down to the ring. He never takes his eyes off of it. He is in full concentration. He looks at the ladder, a serious look creasing his features, before sliding under the bottom rope. He gets up and stands in the center of the ring. A smirk crosses his face but quickly fades. He takes the black towel off of his head and throws it into the crowd, then stares at the briefcase for a bit before returning his gaze to the entrance ramp, awaiting his opponent.
Duff: Yeah, I think Erik Black is definitely eager to get his hands on Rex and show him who is the better man this night!
Tex: Yeah, but if memory serves me correctly, Rex defeated Erik and walked away with the Universal championship. Plus, Rex has been undefeated lately, taking out Metamania and making him as his latest victim.
Duff: That's true, but Erik knows Rex too well and so does Rex for Erik. This is either going to be a long or a short night!
Stormy: Introducing his opponent, from Los Angeles, California, weighing at 275 lbs, he is the current AWA Universal champion...."The Demonic One"....REX BUTLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The opening guitar riff of "Hero" by Pop Evil begin to play as the lights in the arena go out. Strobe lights flash at different angles as the cymbal joins in with the guitar. After a second time the lights and music stop and the arena goes black for a second before screaming fills the arena and the music kicks back in as pyrotechnics shoot from the stage. Rex Butler walks through the curtains, carrying the AWA Universal Title over his shoulder, as Alisha Hicks walks out beside him. They make their way to the ring while Rex stares straight ahead, ignoring the crowd at ringside. Rex takes a quick look at the ladder before he enters through the ropes and stands in the center of the ring, where he raises the Universal Title into the air, staring at his opponent. Erik Black walks in front of him and the two stare each down, Erik Black mouthing off some trash talk as Rex only chuckles deeply and says something back to him. The referee tells the two men to go into their respective corners and wait for the bell to be rung.
Tex: The energy in the ring is very intense and focused as the two combatants begin to circle around each other as the bell rang.
Duff: While the money may be important for both men, I think neither man care for the money, as they are both rich. They just want to tear each other apart!
Rex Butler takes a wild swing towards Erik Black, who rolls forward, lands on the other side, then turns and plants a dropkick into Rex's chest. Enough force was used to push Rex into the lower-left corner and Erik jumps over the big man as Rex ducked, thinking that he was going to attack, but Erik threw him off as he grabbed his opponent's head, leaped off the top rope, spun around his head, then lands in a DDT. Or it looked like a DDT as Erik lands on both of his feet, one arm tightening around Rex's neck, squeezing off any air flow. Rex grits his teeth in rage and quickly forward, Erik trying to get out, but Rex was too fast as he smashed Erik's back into the upper-right turnbuckle! Erik is forced to let go as Rex regains his breath for a few seconds before ripping at Erik with a quick combination of fast punches. Then he grabs Erik's right arm and executes an improvised hip toss, sending Erik down to the mat. Unfortunately, Rex had his hand on Erik's wrist for too long and crouched long enough for Erik to kick him in the head. Rex staggered backwards as Erik kipped up back to his feet and turned, the two now facing each other. Rex tries for a running clothsline, but Erik ducks underneath it, grabs Rex from behind and goes for the Butterfly Effect! But on the third suplex, Erik's grip wasn't strong enough to hold down Rex, who managed to roll back and land on his feet. As Erik got back up, he wasn't quick enough to block as he turned around as a big boot was unleashed, sending the smaller man back to the mat. Rex kicks down Erik a few times on the mat, eventually landing a harsh kick into Erik's ribs, causing him to lose some wind. As Erik catches his breath while trying to get up, Rex rolls out of the ring and grabs the ladder, placing both ends together. Erik sees this and struggles to get back up. As he finally does so, he rushes to the other side of the ring, bounces off the ropes, then comes back and lands a sliding dropkick as Rex tries to push the ladder underneath. The ladder bounces back from the sliding dropkick and hits Rex squiarely in the mouth as he staggers backward and rolls backward, lying on the concrete floor. Black steps through the ropes and jumps down to the concrete floor, first picking up the ladder and sliding it into the ring. Then he turns around and picks up Rex, getting him back on his feet as the Universal champion is apparently dripping blood from his mouth. Erik quickly gets the Universal champion into a Muay Thai clutch and was getting a few knees into Rex's abdomen, causing Rex to grimiace in pain, followed by a sharp elbow directly into the back of his head. Once again, Rex charged Erik into the steel post, causing Erik to loose his grip on Rex, crying out in pain. Rex then executs three hard, brutal punches into Erik's stomach before grabbing the back of his head and planting a devastating knee into his face! Erik falls to the concrete floor, blood dripping out of his nose! Rex then picks up his fallen foe on his feet, taking Erik over to the steel steps and trying to smash his face into the top of those steps, but Erik refuses to move, then smashes Rex's face with a Muay Thai elbow, forcing the champ to walk back, holding his face in pain as blood continues to drop from his mouth. Then Erik takes his foe's head, rushes forward, leaps over the steps, and smashes Rex's face onto the steel steps! As the referee counts to eight, Erik Black rolls into the ring to break up the count, then rolls back out as the referee is yelling at him. Erik throws Rex back into the ring, then follows pursuit, kicking him for a bit like a dog.
Duff: Man, Tex, the crowd are going absolutely insane! I can't believe that blood has already been drawn from both sides!
Tex: Well, Duff, you better believe it! Anything can happen in the AWA, so there's no guarantees around here, except for one and that's complete chaos!
Erik has picked up the ladder, set it properly at the middle of the ring, then slowly begins to climb the steps on the left side, his eyes on the prize. Rex recovers from the blow as he uses the ropes to regain his footing, his eyes gleaming with rage as he quickly pushes the ladder just as Erik was about to grab the briefcase. The ladder falls over, Erik looking to the left, trying to find a safe way to fall. Unfortunately, his jewels became hurt as eventually sits on the top rope, the jewels earning most of the brunt force from the fall. Then he slips to the floor, clutching his jewels as Rex kicks down Erik, preventing him from getting up, then places the ladder on the floor of the mat. Rex then thrusts his left hand into Erik's throat, clutching it tightly, then raising him up as Erik is furiously struggling to get out of the hold, trying to claw his face or kicking at him, Rex just standing there and laughing. Then his face turns completely serious as Rex chokeslams Erik into the ladder, causing Erik to squirm violently as he rolls off the ladder, convlusing, unable to move for the moment. Satisfied that things are now going his way, he now gets his turn in placing the ladder at the center of the ring, then climbs the right side once more, his only goal now is getting the black briefcase that holds $10,000 inside. Erik is struggling to rise on his feet and crawls over to the ropes, grabbing tightly and pulling himself up. By the time he is finally back on equal footing, he sees Rex at least one step away from gaining the briefcase. Erik looks and sees the spanish announcer's table on the outside. He then quickly hits the ropes, comes back, then shoulder rushes the ladder. He pushed it with enough force as Rex is about to have his right hand touch the briefcase while being at the very top. He suddenly realizes that the ladder is falling backward and tries to do something, but he is only able to look back and falls to the outside, his body smashing right through the spanish annoucer's table! The crowd chants "Holy shit! Holy shit! Holy shit!" as Erik grits his teeth in rage and stumbles to his knees, holding his shoulder, trying to regain some feeling into his wrecked body as the camera on the outside spots a motionless Rex Butler, convulsing as he is unable to get up at the moment. Erik sees him lying there and rolls out of the ring, the referee counting down the seconds as Erik slowly walks over and grabs an empty chair, folding it. He looks at Alisha, who stares back at him in horror...then gasps as she sees Rex getting up slowly, but is currently dizzy, unable to remember where he is. Then the champ came back to his senses and looks around. He turns around in time to see Erik charging in with a steel chair in both hands, attempting to smack him in the face. Rex quickly sidesteps, dodging what could have been a painful blow, then kicks Erik in the stomach, forcing him to drop the chair as it clangs to the floor, then Rex drops a swift, yet deadly elbow directly into the back of Erik's neck, forcing him to double over. He then takes the chair, grabs it, and tries to swing into Erik's head, which successfully connects! The blow was very harsh, Erik falling to the ground, face first, and is now dripping blood from his forehead! Rex then tosses him right back into the ring and then rolls back into the ring.
Tex: Good lord! How can both men keep this up? They are just doing exactly what you said earlier, Duff - they are tearing each other apart!
Duff: Damn right they are Tex! They know each other WAY TOO WELL! This may be the match of the night for everyone in the building!
Rex is now in control, placing the ladder in the middle of the ring yet again, but he doesn't climb it. A sick thought slipped into his mind and he slowly walked over to Erik, ignoring the pain that's flowing everywhere in his body, as he picks up Erik and throws him into the ladder, back first. Erik cries out in pain, stumbling forward. Rex, unfotunately, makes the mistake of going for a full body splash as Erik scouts the move ahead in time and quickly ducks, then lifts Rex over him in a back drop, the ladder and Rex collding harshly as Erik falls forward, landing on the mat, chest first, as both men are down. The referee once again counts them both down, the audience joining them. 1.......2........3.......4........5.......6......the count stops as Erik rolls forward and stands up, breaething heavily as saunters over to the ladder, placing it firmly and making sure it won't move before he climbs up on the right side of the ladder, this time doing whatever it takes to gain that black briefcase, despite the major pain wrecking his body. Rex manages to slowly rise up on his feet, yet very slowly, Erik ascending the ladder one by one, although it is a slow climg. Rex glances over his left shoulder, spots what Erik is currently trying to accomplish, then quickly climbs up the left side of the ladder as the crowd continues to nuts. Blood continues to drip from both men, but neither man is caring about it as they both try to each the top. Finally, Erik stands before Rex as Rex is below him as he swings at a punch and connects, but Rex recovers form the blow and strikes back with a punch to the throat. The two men continue to fight each other, only for Erik to grab Rex and plant a tremendous headbutt into Rex, causing the Universal champion to groan in pain and falling backward, landing on the mat harshly. Yet Erik himself is unable to move for a second as the headbutt also caused him to be quickly stunned. He tries to shake it off when we suddenly see movement from the entrance ramp and we see Canis sprinting down to the ring and slidling himself in, then quickly dropkicks the ladder, Erik trying to grab a hold of the briefcase in the last second, but his hold is no good as he slips from the ladder and crashes into the ladder with a tremendous bang. Canis then begins to lay the boots down on him when Jason Stevens quickly comes out from backstage, he too running down the ramp with terrible, blindling speed as he slides into the ring, then turns his attention to Canis, dragging him off from Erik Black before spinning him around and taking him down with a ferocious martial arts kick. Then he turns around and begins to lay the boots onto Rex Butler, who is trying to get him, yet keeps on throwing him down. Erik Black raises Canis to his feet and goes for a punch, but gets blocked and the two go at it, counter for counter. Rex is finally back on his feet and Jason tries to get in a few hard shots into Rex, which connect successfully, but Rex, whose face is twisted into deep hatred, stuns Jason with a vicious headbutt, sending him sprawling to the mat. Erik finally wins the punch duel, kicking Canis in the knee, forcing the bigger man to fall on one knee before executing a german suplex and surprising the audience by doing it two more times after the fact! Jason and Canis are now on the floor as Rex picks up the ladder yet again, placing it firmly at the center of the ring, then begins to climb the ladder on the left. Erik sees this and resumes his climb on the right once more, the two of them ascending the ladder as fast as they can now.
Tex: Canis is back on his feet and is trying to stop the two men from climbing, but Jason surprised him with a clothsline out of nowhere, sending the big man out of the ring!
Duff: As far as I'm concerned, its anyone's ballgame now!
Rex and Erik are now at the top once more, fighitng it out as Jason spings over the ropes and lands succesfully into Canis with a full cross-body splash, both men dropping to the mat, recovering from the pain. The camera then cuts back to Rex and Erik and both men seem to have a firm grip on the briefcase! Suddenly, the ladder below them falls and both men are completely suspended from the air! Both men are now desperately trying to kick each other in the stomach. Erik kicks very hard with one last final kick, watching Rex somehow about to lose his grip on the briefcase! But somehow Rex is holding on and the Universal champion kicks back with a fierce kick into Erik's stomach, hoping for the same result, but was not successfully. On the outside, Canis and Jason Stevens are brawling with each other, neither of them gaining the advantage. However, on the ladder front, both men heaved kicked, then pushed themselves and both of them kicked each other with their final ounce of strength. The latch above was released and both Rex and Erik are falling down to the mat! Somehow, someway, Rex managed to get a better hold of the briefcase and clutch it to his chest as Erik realized what happens as he desperately tries to regain his holding! However, his grip is unable to happen and both men fall on their backs onto the mat with major imapct as the referee rings for the bell as Canis and Jason stops and saw what happened, realizing who just won.
Stormy: Here is your winner - REX BUTLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tex: This was one heck of a fight from start to finish, Duff!
Duff: Damn right on that one, partner! Both it's gonna take a long while before these men are back on their feet 100%! What a war!
The two men back off each other as Jason Stevens slides into the ring and quickly checks up on Erik Black, who is not moving at all. Alisha quickly climbs into the ring and checks up on her man as well as Canis simply walks up the ramp with a sadistic smile on his face as ambulance and security personnell quickly get into the ring, to see what the status are for both men and to get them into the back as Canis steps through backstage and the scene fades to black...
:: We cut to the backstage area, finding Canis standing next to Page Harris, who looks visibly better and less shaken than she did the last time the two met. Canis is looking focused, determined and ready for his encounter with Fang as the questions begin to fire ::
Page Harris: I'm here with Canis, just moments away now from tonight's main event. Canis, what can we expect from you tonight?
Canis: Page, the people that are beginning to warm to me since i cut my ties with Opus Dei will be expecting another beating on par with what they witnessed last week. But Fang is a different kind of opponent than Toxic Angel. She was never prepared enough for our enouncter... she was never up to it and she was left found wanting by both myself and the management. Fang is on a roll... but i can promise you that tonight you will see his winning streak cut short.
Page Harris: Do you believe you can make him tap out?
Canis: I wouldn't be here if i didn't believe it. Fang has been catching the eye lately but he's finally met his superior. He's King of the middle-tier in this Asylum.. but he's not ready for the number one contender to to the Universal Title. I will not only make him tap, but i will leave him with a crippling reminder of what happens when you aim too high, too fast.
Page Harris: And what of the Universal Title?
Canis: The only reason i'm standing here before you now without the Universal Title is because of Mendoza. He cost me my shot at the belt and Rex Butler got off lightly. I hadn't even gotten started by the time the bell rung for a disqualification... rest assured, the next time we meet will have a completely different outcome. Throw in that muppet Jason Stevens and Erik Black and the AWA faithful are gonna have a hell of a match on their hands. But neither are at my level. Erik Black has had chance after chance after chance and only come off the better once... ONE TIME. Rex Butler better start paying some attention to my quest for ultimate glory. Next week at High Voltage II... i will make sure that i leave his home town with my hands on the Universal Title. It's time for a change around here...
I'm ready to bring it.
:: Canis heads off to the ring leaving Page standing alone with more questions to be asked, but no one to answer them ::
:: The stadium lights flicker as the harsh, haunting opening riff of "Better" screams across the PA system, drawing a dampened cheer from the capacity crowd who are still coming to terms with his new found freedom from Opus Dei. You can't blame them for being wary.
"No one ever told me when i was alone, they just thought i'd know better... better"
SC: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, making his way to the ring weighing in at 232ibs he is CANIS!
Axl Rose's distinct voice joins the guitar, bringing the lights all the way down to darkness as Canis' video begins to play on the giant screen, the air cooling to a noticable chill.
"No one ever told me when i was alone, they just thought I’d know better... better"
Just as the full band kicks in to the song, the video shows a glass crucifix shattering into tiny pieces as a large flash of white pyrotechniques explode from the stage, bringing the lights back up and revealing Canis stood in the entrance way. As the crowd begins to cheer him tentatively, he walks towards the ring with a look of determination painted across his pale face - occasionally acknowledging the front row with a nod and a forced smile. After sliding under the ropes he looks to the rafters for a moment and grins, shaking his head to himself before closing his eyes and looking down, breathing slowly. As his music fades, he raises his head and grins to himself ::
Texx: After being absent for several weeks Canis made his return to the AWA last week and this is his first match back.
Duff: Yeah, and his first match without Opus Dei looking over his shoulder, and he’s facing Fang to boot!
SC: Introducing his opponent.,,,,
The howl of a wolf is heard as the lights in the arena dim. Wolfmoon from Type O Negative begins to play and a shower of white pyros comes from the entrance. Fang walks out in his wrestling attire, a nice white t-shirt, black jeans and black shoes. He walks around the ring area with a sneer on his face but finally slaps hands with some of the fans, while he receives a mixed reaction. Fang slides into the ring to await his opponent.
SC: From Long Island, PA weighing in at 220ibs, he is the reigning International Champion Jonathon “Fang” Porter!!!!!
The two wrestlers go face to face in the middle of the ring, Fang is the first to strike and swings at Canis who fights back and the ref quickly calls for the bell and the match officially begins, the brawl goes on for a few minutes before Canis takes advantage of a mistake on Fang’s part and levels the older wrestler with a short clothesline, two stomps later and Canis goes for a cover 1…..2…..kickout by Fang,
Texx: Is Canis serious? There’s no way Fang would’ve been pinned THIS early in the match especially not by a clothesline.
Duff: It’s smart thinking Texx, Canis is trying to get Fang to exhaust himself by kicking out of those covers.
Canis picks up Fang but the veteran surprises him with an uppercut to the jaw stunning him momentarily, Fang doesn’t give Canis a chance to regroup instead hitting a running bulldog following it up with a running knee drop using his repaired knee before going for the cover 1….2….kickout by Canis, Fang doesn’t argue with the ref instead picking Canis back up and going for The Fatal Shot, however Canis pushes him off, trips him up before Canis locks in the ankle lock quickly and suddenly, putting ultimate pressure on the trapped ankle of his opponent whilst letting out a hellish scream.
Texx: Canis calls that The Ball And Chain and it could be lights out for Fang!
However that isn’t the case as Fang eventually reaches the ropes , however the damage has been done and Canis begins stomping on the leg before locking in a leg lock, once again Fang reaches the ropes but Canis pulls him away and goes for a Figure Four Leglock but Fang pushes him off.
Texx: Ric Flair, he isn’t.
Duff: I didn’t know Yoda was my broadcast partner!
Texx shakes his head as Canis attempts to work on Fang’s bad leg some more but Fang catches him with a clothesline before stomping on him a couple of more times, Fang picks Canis up before drilling him with a Full Nelson slam and going for a cover 1….2…..kickout by Canis,
Texx: The veteran’s in control!
Fang gets a sadistic grin on his face and picks up Canis once again, he yells out “Full Metal Jacket” to the crowd and the fans roar knowing that Fang’s finisher is coming up soon, Fang gets Canis into position but Canis slips out the back and chop blocks Fang’s bad leg before locking in the ankle lock again, however before he can let out his Hellish Scream an all to familiar face storms down the ramp.
Texx: Erick Black? What’s he doing here?
The only response Duff can give is a shrug and Erick climbs up on the apron yelling at Canis whilst the ref tries to get him off the apron not noticing the fact that Fang is tapping out, however Rex Butler runs down the ramp just as Fang kicks Canis away and Rex pulls Erick off the apron and starts brawling with his long time enemy, meanwhile in the ring Fang goes for another Fatal Shot but Canis reverses it into The Illumination spiking Fang’s head down into the matt, he goes for a Crippler Crossface and watches as the referee raises the arm of Fang three times before calling for the bell as Fang is out cold.
SC: Here’s your winner CANIS!!!!
Fang lays on the ground in agony after Canis makes him tap out. Suddenly Father Mendoza and his Opus Dei minions run out to the ring and attack Canis. Canis tries hard to keep them at bay but the numbers game seems to catch up to him. Meanwhile Fang is pulling himself up from the mat. He then sees Canis in a bad situation. He walks over to Opus Dei who stop and turn to him. Canis is down and Mendaoza offers Fang a free shot at his opponent. Fang looks at Canis and grins. Canis looks up at Fang. Fang leans in and whispers in his ear. Canis looks up in shock.
Tex: NO Fang don’t join those losers. Don’t join Opus Dei.
Fang pulls Canis up and looks as if he’s going to shoot him into the turnbuckle. He then uppercuts Mendoza quickly and performs the Fatal Shot on Mendoza. The Opus Dei thugs don’t know what hit them as Canis and Fang make short work of the robed figures. Father Mendoza begins to get up and tries to make his way out of the ring, but he gets cut off by Fang. Fang picks Mendoza up and gets ready for The Full Metal Jacket. He hits it and as Mendoza falls back Canis moves in and is perfectly set up for the Illumination. Mendoza is a broken heap in the middle of the ring, Fang calls for a mic
Fang: I told Opus Dei that this man was now under MY PROTECTION. This man who has such raw ability and needs but a bit of guidance. I shall mentor him till he feels the need to cast me off. Canis and I have battled each other in this ring and we see that we are truly equals. So now on this night is the forming of a new alliance, a new team. Now in this ring you all see the birth of the Dogs Of War. Two men with only one common goal, to take the AWA by storm and to show each and every one of you that we are the best in the business.
Duff: Holy unexpected combinations, Tex. Fang and Canis are now watching each others backs. What will this mean for the AWA.
Tex: I don’t know Duff, but it can’t be good.
Canis: No longer am I on a road to bring sinners to god. No longer am I apart of Opus Dei. I have found a higher calling and a higher purpose. To exert My dominance on the AWA. Fang and myself have come together to form an alliance that will shake the foundations of the AWA. A decorated veteran of the wrestling world, and a man with the raw talent to climb his way to the top. Nobody shall stop us. A new day has dawned in the AWA and everyone will stand in awe.
The golden age of Grotuesque blasts over the PA and Goth walks out. He’s looking straight at his brother who now wears a big smile on his face. Goth just stares down Fang from the stage as Fang calls his brother to the ring.
Goth: You two want to watch each other’s backs at the coming PPV next week? Fine!! I’ll make you watch each other’s backs… But trust me little brother, this little alignment that you have with that idiot will die just as sudden as it was created… Trust me… The Family always makes sure that My promises will be kept!!!!
The scene fades to darkness as Goth stares down the two men inside the ring
