AWA Monday Night Insomnia Results

the arena lights dim as a Grave Yard shows on the big screen, grave stones are being shown all over the arena and smoke comes from the entrance ramp and from under the ring. Crazy J steps out with all black on and he has a GYC necklace on. he has on a black GYC hat and he smiles as he enters the ring. he steps in the ring and climbs a turnbuckle and the lights go out and then a single light shines up on Crazy J. but then another light shines and Mack Blackheart is standing on the turnbuckle and then the other two turnbuckles light up and Taxx and Nailz are standing on the turnbuckles as well. the arena lights stay out but lights above the ring shine as Crazy J steps down and walks to the middle of the ring.

Crazy J: So I got one thing to ask you people... What side of the Yard are you standing on? You see Goth has his little group of misfits but what does he have for real? I have champions.... I have three men that could easily hold every title in the AWA. I have AWA champion and the soon to be 2 time Asylum Champion.

Crazy J: Last week at Disturbed Dreams a funeral was held for my carrier but the demons would not let it be... I felt the devil taking my soul, I wanted to let it go but something pushed it back into me and then I knew I had to take actions and Make an example out of Staniak. Last week Eric Corrayo we passed each other in the ring and I touched my belt, I hope that didn’t send a mixed signal to you. Tonight you lose that title. But Now I am going to let the AWA world champion speak

Nailz: Crazy J! Last week at the end of Disturbed Dreams I did for the stable. I kept the world heavyweight title around my waist and in this stable, only to be attacked by Goths goons! I don't take to kindly to getting my ass kicked by two timing thugs who want to call themselves a stable! Now as soon as Taxx brings back the Asylum championship I want to lay down a challenge to the King's Templar. It's been a long time since the Grave Diggas have seen any tag team action and the fans I know are thirsting to see some world championship tag team action! So Crazy J and if Goth is listening I want to issue a challenge. A 3 man tag team elimination Survivor Series type match with Bulldog Bill, Erik Black and Starseed vs. The Grave Diggas and Bad Bones Mack Blackheart! What do you say gentlemen? Intrigued?

Crazy J: Big words from a Big champion, but to behonest Nailz, Goths Bitches wont want any part of this match. To be honest I havent seen to many of them around back stage tonight. Erik Black is sitting at home tonight scared of what I will do to him, one of my former best friends needs to die. But you see Erik Black carrier died along time ago. But I know the next Asylum champion wants to talk so

Taxx: "And when I defeat Eric Corrayo tonight all of the gold will be with the Graveyard Crew once again! The Grave Diggas will once again show the entire wrestling world why we are legendary status! The World champion Nailz, and the Asylum Champion Taxx will stomp their way through the tag team division obliterating any challenges that stand in our way to the tag titles. After all what kind of tag team division would it be if the legendary Grave Diggas didn't hold the titles? Also, what kind of federation would AWA be if the Grave Diggas didn't hold all of the gold period? The Grave Diggas will be the kings of the castle and AWA will be our kingdom!"

Mack: I think everyone here, needs to know something. When everyone goes home I want each and everyone of you to log onto your computers and check with the GWA Archives, and go under GWA Tag Team Champions, and you will see that I known as Black Bone took/defeated Goth and Bill Barnhart for the GWA Tag Team Championship, and ever since that match those two haven't been partners since now, and I will do whatever it takes to not let anyone from Goths team capture any gold here in the AWA, and if they atempt to capture any gold than its our job to make sure that never happens!

Crazy J takes the microphone from Mack and he walks to the center of the ring. Crazy J smiles and then the arena lights dim once more and a red light shines on Crazy J face.

Crazy J: Tonight Staniak you are in action once more and i promise you that broken rib is nothing compared to what my boys are going to do to you. Death is the only way out for you and tonight I am going to send you packing then its back to the task at hand and that is destroying Goth and his bitches.

the ring lights go out and when they come back on they are all gone other then a GYC logo in the center of the ring.

We cut backstage where we see Bulldog Bill Barnhart walking down the hallway where the dressing rooms are located. He has a silly smile on his face and we wonder what he is up to. We follow him to see what will happen. He approaches the dressing room of Chris Shipman and bangs on the door. Shipman answers the door and wonders what Bill is doing standing there.

BULLDOG BILL: You suck Shipman! Eat a damn fetus!

Bill tosses something into Shipman's face that resembles a fetus. We know it cannot be a real one or Bill would be in big trouble. Shipman tosses the item into his mouth and quickly swallows it and then he slams the door in Bill's face. Barnhart shrugs his shoulders and continues off down the hallway looking for another dressing room.

Chris Shipman vs. Deacon Cross
Stormy Canyon: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is contested under Standard Rules!!! The first wrestler is currently in the ring and he is new to the AWA…. Deacon Evers!!!

The fans cheer for the new wrestler as we suddenly hear a familiar from a returning wrestler

Stormy Canyon: And his opponent!! Standing in at 6’3 and weighs in at 235 pounds!! Hailing from the Georgian Backwoods!! The Psycho!! Chris Shipman!!!

Seven by Boondox blares over the speakers as the lights go out. Suddenly an eruption of pyro over the ramp creates a blast of light to see Shipman with a busted forehead and holding a barbed wire noose. The pyro dies as Shipman walks to the ring. He gets in, throws the noose to the floor and sits in the corner with an expressionless look as the music fades.

Tex Martin: This is going to be a good one, a new face against a familiar nutcase!! Lets see how this is going to evolve.

Duff Travers: Nutcase? He’s the Psycho!!!

Deacon Cross starts the match off with some chops to the chest, the crowd get into their Ric Flair Whoo chant as he continues his assault on Shipman as he forces him in the corner. He goes for an Irish Whip into the other corner, but Shipman reverses it and whips him in the turnbuckles. Just as Deacon Cross comes staggering back from the turnbuckles he gets grabbed by the waist by Shipman and he executes an overhead released German Suplex and that causes Cross to come down on the canvas on his neck. This causes the fans to get to their feet as some are cheering as others are looking on to see if Deacon Cross is moving after witnessing the impact of the blow.

Tex Martin: That’s the danger with moves like these, I hope Deacon is doing well<

Duff Travers: I see his head moving, so I guess he’s just fine!!!

Shipman grabs the head of Deacon Cross and locks him in a Cobra Clutch and pulls hard on the painful head of Deacon Cross as the referee is checking to see if Cross wants to give up to the pain. Cross is shouting no as he refuses to give in to the pain that is being delivered to him by Shipman. Shipman lets one hand go and then starts to drive series of elbows to the back of Cross his neck. Cross falls forwards to the canvas as Shipman runs to the ropes and comes down with series of elbow shots to the neck of Deacon Cross. Shipman stands above the motionless body of Deacon Cross and drives a knee to the neck of Cross and then rolls him over to his back and goes for the cover. The referee goes down for the three count, but somehow we see Deacon Cross managing to get his shoulder up in time before the hand of the referee hits the canvas for the final time. Shipman stares at the referee with a sick grin on his face before lifting Deacon Cross to his face and then dropping him with a Body Slam in the middle of the ring. He signals for the end as he lifts up Cross for the final time and lifts his arm in the air to signal for the end to be near.

Tex Martin: What is he going to do now?

Shipman pushes Cross to the turnbuckles and lifts him up on the turnbuckles as he climbs on it as well. He grabs the head and lifts him up in the air for a Jackhammer suplex off the top turnbuckle.

Duff Travers: London Calling!!!!!

Shipman goes for the cover and gets the win as he celebrates his return to pro wrestling with a victory over the young Deacon Cross.

Winner Chris Shipman

We cut backstage again where Bill Barnhart is still stalking the hallways. This time Bill stops at the dressing room of Jason Stevens and kicks on the door. Jason answers the door but before he can say a word Bill whips out a can of Classic Coke, shakes it really hard, then pops the top and sprays Classic Coke all over a very pissed off Jason Stevens. Before Jason has a chance to react Bill takes off down the hallway. As Bill is quickly walking down the hallway he passes the dressing room of Nailz and Blackheart. He looks at the dressing room for a moment then decides to politely knock on the door. There is no answer so Bill knocks a little louder. There is still no answer so Bill walks down the hallway looking for the dressing rooms of Taxx and Eric Corrayo.

Starseed vs. Jason Stevens

Stormy: The following match is scheduled for one fall and will be for the #2 ranking for the Asylum Title. Introducing first from Calgary Alberta Canada. He weighs in at 225 pounds…Starseed!

Our Lady Peace's "Starseed" acoustic intro begins to play, the lights dim, and a single red Maple Leaf spotlights on the entryway, the crowd screaming loudly. The heavy drum beat begins, and as the Lead singer screams, 4 pyros crash at the top of the ramp, and out walks the Canadian Phenom...The *Starseed*! He raises his arms in the air, the crowd cheering loudly. He proceeds down the ramp, wearing his lavish red robe, studded with sparkling white rhinestones in a Canadian flag on the back. The word "Phenom" is patterned underneath in cursive with an underline. He’s about to jump onto the apron when from behind Jason Stevens rushes him and gives a quick forearm shot to the back of his head. Stevens starts punching Starseed in the back of the head. He picks Starseed up and slams his skull into the ring apron.

Tex: Looks like Jason Stevens is getting into the spirit of the Asylum division.

Duff: This match hasn’t even officially started, neither of them got into the ring.

Stevens goes to whip Starseed into the ring steps but Starseed reverse it sending Stevens crashing into the steps with the back of his head. Stevens sits with his back on the steel steps. Starseed runs and him and nails him in the face with knee. He picks Stevens up and gives him a snap suplex right onto the ring steps. Stevens is writhing in pain.

Duff: Oh god I think Jason Steven’s back might be broken. The referee needs to get control of this.

Tex: Like you said the match hasn’t officially started so the referee can’t do a damn thing.

Starseed signals for another suplex on the steps. He sets Stevens up, but is blocked. Stevens blocks another attempt and then turns it into a front suplex slamming Starseed sternum first into the steps. With Starseed still laying on the steps Stevens backs up and delivers a running drop kick slamming Starseed’s skull into the steps. Stevens tries to walk off the pain in his back. The referee is yelling at him to get in the ring but he ignores it. He picks Starseed up, he is bleeding from the last shot, he rams Starseed into the ringside barricade. He backs up and throws Starseed into the barricade twice more spine first.

Duff: Starseed is bleeding and again the match hasn’t begun yet. What has gotten into these guys?

Tex: It’s the asylum division, only the vicious survive.

As Starseed tries to regain his bearings Stevens steps back and looks like he is setting up for something. He runs at Starseed, but Starseed counters with a kick between the legs and its stops Stevens in his tracks. Starseed takes a moment and realizes blood is running down his face. He looks enraged and picks up Stevens. He brings Stevens over to the ring apron and begins slamming his head into the apron over and over and over and over again. Then he throws Steven head first into the ring post as hard as he can. The blood begins to flow down Stevens face as Starseed brings him over to the announcer’s table. He rips off the top of the table and begins clearing it. Stevens is trying to fight back, but his hits have very little power to them right now. Starseed slams Steven’s head into the table leaving a huge blood mark. He then drags Stevens onto the table and looks like he is going for the Canadian Destroyer.

Tex: Both these men are taking it up a few notches to prove they belong in the asylum division.

Duff: Don’t do it Starseed, you could break Jason’s neck. Come on referee get some order!

Starseed looks out to the crowd then signals the end. But Steven’s drops to one knee and low blows him to counter. He then hooks Starseed and slams him through the announcers table with an STO. Both men aren’t moving after the move. The referee jumps out of the ring to check on them. Stevens slowly begins to move and the referee yells for him to get into the ring so the match can start officially. Stevens shakes the cobwebs loose and slowly gets to his feet. Starseed still hasn’t moved and Steven drags him up to his feet and throws him into the ring. Stevens rolls under the bottom rope and the referee finally has the bell ring to start the match.

Duff: It should be academic now, I don’t see anyone getting up from that devastating STO that sent Starseed through our table.

Stevens covers Starseed and the referee counts 1…2…Starseed barely kicks out at the very last moment. Stevens rolls off of him, they both are laying in the ring bloodied and trying to catch a moment of rest. The referee starts a count 1..2…3…4…5…6…7…Stevens begins to get up…8…Starseed begins to pull himself up by the ropes…9…both men get to their feet. Both men are stumbling around trying to figure out what to do next. They both wipe the blood from their eyes and begin to trade punches back and forth.

Tex: Who would’ve thought these two men could have such a brutal match.

Duff: Neither of these men will be the same after this.

Stevens gets a quick knee into the gut to stun Starseed. He gives a few solid chops to Starseed’s chest and then shoots him into the ropes. Stevens goes for a clothesline, Starseed ducks it and goes for the Avro Arrow. But Steven sidesteps it as Starseed turns back around he gets a kick to the gut and Stevens hooks him for the Sensationalized. Starseed reverse that with some elbows to the head and quickly turns it into a huge Starbreaker. Both men are on the ground and Starseed slowly crawls on top of Stevens. The referee counts 1…2…3! The bell rings and Starseed rolls off Stevens but doesn’t have enough energy to get up. They both lay on the ground bloody.

Tex: What a match, I can’t believe it happened but both men proved they belong in this division.

Duff: I can’t believe you are happy to see this. Blood is everywhere, I can’t believe how brutal these guys got.

Stormy: Here’s is your winner…..STARSEED!!!!

Winner Starseed

We again cut backstage to find Bulldog Bill Barnhart still looking for the dressing rooms of Taxx and Eric Corrayo. He passes the dressing room for Havok and Staniak and he decides to peek in the door since the door is slightly open. As quickly as Bill peeks his head in the door he pulls it out again. He has a totally shocked look on his face as he looks up into the camera.

BULLDOG BILL: Uh, I don't think you really want to know what I just saw. Uh, even I am finding it hard to believe it. I think I will leave that one standing.

Bill continues down the hallway and he is surprised to find that the dressing rooms for Taxx and Eric Corrayo are across from each other. Bill gets a huge smile on his face and he appears to be up to no good. We watch as Barnhart drags a large box from behind a table and pulls out a large bird cage that could fit a large Macaw Parrot. He places the large bird cage in the middle of the hallway between the two dressing room doors. Bill then kicks on the dressing room door of Corrayo and in his best Taxx voice he calls him out. Then he quickly beats on Taxx's dressing room door and in his best Eric Corrayo voice he calls him out. Bill then steps back and, as expected, both dressing room door open at the same time and both Taxx and Eric Corrayo come rushing, head first, toward the other wrestler's dressing room. What happens instead is that both wrestlers crash head-first into the large bird cage, nearly knocking the two wrestlers out. Bill calmly walks off down the hallway whistling to himself and mumbling something.

BULLDOG BILL: Well, the Main Event is a Cage Match right? Har har har! Serves those two clowns right!

The cameraman keeps his camera on Bill Barnhart until Bill turns the corner. He then cuts off his camera and the crew in the control room switch back to Tex and Duff who are ready to call the next match.

Goth can be seen sitting in his office as he is joined by Owen Idol as they are discussing what happened in the beginning of the show

Goth: Oh don’t you just love drama Owen? A little challenge from the man that almost holds every single title in this federation. And yet he feels the hot breath of the true leader of this federation breathing down his stinking neck. It’s just like how I controlled him when we were wrestling in the past. I guess some things never change now do they?

Owen nods his head before laughing in the camera

Goth: You see J? I don’t work that way, you want an answer from the King of Kings?? Why don’t you wait until next week, then I will tell you exactly what you can expect by the greatest wrestler of all time… Have a good night J….

Goth and Owen burst out in laughter as the shot returns to the ring where we are heading to the next match

Nailz/Blackheart vs. Nathaniel Havok/Staniak
Not going away blares over the sound system and once again the Philly crowd goes wild for the Pennsylvania boy as Jonathan Porter comes out through the entrance way. Brenda is following behind him with a long black cloth in her hands. The black cloth looks like there is something wrapped up inside it. Porter is wearing his customary black satin shirt, black dress slacks, blue tie, and black loafers. He enters the ring and then holds the ropes open for Brenda who enters and walks to the center of the ring. Stormy is in the ring ready to introduce the Tag match when Porter motions for her mic. She hands it to him.

Porter: It’s once again great to be back here in Philadelphia.

Crowd: FANG, FANG, FANG , FANG, FANG, FANG.

Duff: We knew Porter had a big announcement. I wonder what that announcement is?

Porter: Over the past few months, we’ve given you Crazy J’s Asylum Division. The division devoted to the hardcore matches many of you fans want to see. My brother Goth has brought forth the AWA World Championship, a title that can only be held by the best. Each of these titles is prestigious. Each of these titles are the desire of ever man on the roster. So I got to thinking to myself, Jon, that’s what I call myself, Jon. What can I bring to the AWA? What division can I groom and make grow into it’s dominant division in the wrestling industry. Then it hit me. There was one thing I was great at. One of the best at when I was able to be in this ring. Three times with three different partners I attained gold in this area. My name was etched in the annuls of GWA history as one of the best to ever step into this kind of match.

Brenda walks over and Jonathan begins to unwrap the cloth. He pulls one of two items that was in the cloth. It’s obvious now that it’s a belt. As Porter turns to the crowd he smiles and holds the belt in the air as Brenda does the same with it’s mate.

Porter: I Present to you the Fans, the AWA Tag Team Division World Titles.

Porter holds the belt high in the air. The white gold plaques feature flames that tangle in the words World Tag Champions . Jonathan walks around the ring with the one he is holding high so the fans around ringside can all get a good look. The Man in Black then hands the belt back to Brenda who holds on to it and it’s mate.

Porter: Soon, the best teams in the AWA will come together. The roster will build it’s alliances and forge its partnerships all in a bid to attain what are destined to become the most sought after Tag Titles in the industry today. A Division will be born worthy of the legacy left by men like the Blood Brothers, Silver and Gold, The Grave Diggas, and of course the Dark Enforcers. The men who are entering this next match will be guaranteed a title shot at these new AWA Championships.

Tex: AWA’s OWN Tag Division, My god that’s one of the things Porter’s been so busy with. The AWA is just getting more intense every week.

Porter hands the mic back to Stormy and then takes both Tag Belts and holds them up high in the air again as the Philly crowd goes crazy. Porter then holds on to both of them as he walks out of the ring and joins Duff and Tex at the announcers table.

Duff: Mr. Porter, have a seat. This is exciting news. A Tag Division and the winners of this match will be guaranteed a shot at those titles at a later date.

Porter: That’s correct, Duff. You know I want to build a great company with the right type of programming for our fans. So I feel it’s vitally important to have a strong Tag Division. Tag Team wrestling isn’t about being carried. It’s about team work, strategy, knowing that you have two men to defeat and one who has your back. Great teams have that foundation, great teams shine through. Nailz was a member of one of the Greatest tag teams ever, and now he has a shot to attain that again.

Tex: I’d like to point out that Havok and Staniak have also held Tag gold before.

Porter: Yes they have. As has Blackheart, so none of these men are new to Tag Team wrestling. I think though that Staniak and Havok have an advantage as they have been a tag team before. This match should be great. Speaking of that I think we should let Stormy get to it.

Stormy: This match is a Tag Team contest with the winner getting a future shot at the newly announced World Tag Team titles.; Introducing first representing the Grave Yard Crew. He is from Red Lodge Montana. He is the man they call Bad Bones, Mack Blackheart.

The begining of the Bad to the Bone by George Throughgood plays and once the sax and the drums are heard Mack comes out and looks around and raises his right arm, still looking around than he lowers it, and than he slowly makes his way down to the ring not looking at anyone, and get he gets into the ring he raises his right arm again before his song is faded out and once the song is faded out he puts his arm down. The crowd is split in their reaction some booing and some cheering.

Stormy: HIs partner, he is the AWA WORLD CHAMPION. He is from Los Angeles California. He is the ASSASSIN, NAILZ they are the NEW GRAVE DIGGAS

Inside the Fire by Disturbed blares over the PA, The arena turns red with flames dancing around the sides of the stage. Nailz rises out of a smokey mist from the middle as if rising from the depths of hell with Azael at his side. A flame trail follows down the isleway until Nailz heads to the ring. When he gets in the ring he stands in the middle facing the camera as a huge flame wall erupts to the huge cheers of the crowd

Stormy: Their opponents represent Killing in the Name of. They are the Enforcer of Sorrow, Nathaniel Havok, And the Red Ripper, Staniak.

Anthem (We Are the Fire) by Trivium hits on the PA as red and white strobe lights give the arena a slow motion effect. Out from behind the curtain comes the Enforcer of Sorrow Nathaniel Havok, hair dripping wet, and eyes towards the floor. He then throws his arms in the air and spits water from his mouth as flames ignite the entrance ramp leading to the ring. . He stops and waits and points to the entranceway

Staniak comes running out of the back and the two "brothers" make the mad sprint to the ring together. Both men slide in under the bottom ropes as Mack and Nailz get right into the fight with them. Nailz clotheslines Staniak, as Mack goes to use a big boot on Havok. Havok dropkicks Bad Bones legs out from under him. Staniak rolls out of the ring and Nailz follows him out. Meanwhile Havok is working on Bad Bones in the ring.

Tex: Looks like this match has gotten off to a quick start.

Porter: Of course it would. This is a chance for a shot at these new belts. Gold is gold here in the AWA, and all the guys on the roster are hungry for gold.

Havok works his aggressions out on Mack. Quick kicks keep the larger man down. Nailz and Staniak have gotten up onto the apron in thier corners. Havok has Mack down and jumps up on the second turnbuckle. As he jumps to hid a mid body leg drop Mack moves. A collective OOoooh goes up out of the crowd,. Blackheart pulls Havok to his feet and whips him into the turnbuckle. Havok is floored with a devastating clothesline. Mack goes for the quick pin but only gets a two count as Havok kicks out.

Porter: Bones is going to have to do a little more to Havok if he wants to put him down. I fought the man eight times in my career. He's one tough son of a bitch.

Duff: The Grave Yard Crew is pretty tough too you know.

Bones pulls Havok back up to his feet and whips in into the ropes. Havok rebounds off and ducks under a clothesline. and hits a superkick as Bones turns around. Havok then tags in Staniak who leaps over the top rope and brings an elbow down on the top of Blackhearts head. Staniak then runs and bounces of the top rope leaping through the air for a forearm. Bad Bones swats Staniak to the ground. He pulls the Red Ripper up and drags him over to the corner. He tags Nailz in and holds Staniak as Nailz enters the ring.

Tex: Looks like the Grave Diggas are on the same page. That's excellent Tag Team wrestling.

Nailz begins his onslaught with some well place punches leading to an uppercut. Then he whips Stan into the ropes and hits a scoopslam. The Assassin then pulls the Red Ripper up and hits a sidewalk slam. Nailz covers Staniak and is hit with a quick kick to the back of the head by Havok to break it up. The ref pushed Havok back out and Nailz gets to his feet. Staniak pulls himself up to his feet in the corner and Nailz comes in. Staniak slides out of the way and Nailz hits the turnbuckles. Stan then pulls off a neckbreaker on the stunned Nailz. Staniak goes for the cover and is tossed off. Staniak charges back in again and gets caught in a choke hold as Nailz gets to his feet. Nailz then chokeslams Staniak. Nailz goes for the pin again but jumps up to clotheline Havok as he comes in once again to make a save. Nailz then picks Staniak back up and hits the Last Rights on him. Nailz gets the three count.

Duff: Looks like this one is over.

Porter: Hey that's the way it goes some times your not as good as you should be from one day to the next. So it looks like the Grave Diggas are on their way to a title shot for the Tag Titles in the future.

Nailz and Bad Bones look over to Porter who stands and holds the Tag title belts up. Nailz and Mack nod to each other and Porter just stands there with a bemuses smirk on his face.

Stormy here are your winners The New Grave Diggas, Nailz and Mack Blackheart.

Insomnia goes to a commercial as the Tag Title belts are held in close up

.

The show comes back and Crazy J, Taxx, Nailz and Mack are all in the ring and Staniak is laying in the ring, Crazy J kicks him in the ribs a few times and then locks on the Disturbed Dreams once more. Crazy J release the hold and throws him into the corner and then lifts him up for the Neck Cutter. Staniak hits the mat and does not move. Crazy J looks at his broken rib and tells the 3 men to finish braking it. they take turns hitting him and after a few they smile and Crazy J leads them to the back and he stops and smiles as they walk to the back.

Winner: Winner Nailz/Blackheart

Eric Corrayo vs. Taxx 2 high cage match for the Asylum Title
The arena lights dim as the first cage is lowered to the ring, inside of the cage is weapons tied to the sides and the lights are flickering then the lights go out as a strobe light with a glass cell starts to lower. Inside of the cell a straightjacket hangs in the middle of it. As the cages come together pyros go off and Tech N9ne comes out with Kutt calhoun and Krizz Kaliko come out behind him and they perform Like yeah. They move down towards the cages and they work their up the steps and then end up in the top of the glass cell and when the song ends the lights go out and when they come back on they are gone.

Stormy: This is your insomnia main event and it is for the Asylum Championship. This is a two stage cell match where you must put you opponent in a straight jacket to win. Coming to the ring at this time is the Grave Yard Crews own Taxx.

The lights dim down as "Haunted" by Disturbed hits. A bolt of lightning strikes the stage as Taxx suddenly appears. Dark purple lighting fills the arena and a thick fog coats the ground as Taxx walks down the ramp. He climbs the stairs and he looks around at the weapons as he waits for the champion.

Stormy: And your AWA Asylum Champion the EGO Killer Eric Corrayo.

The lights go out as the opening guitar rift begins for "Knee Deep" by CKY. Then all of a sudden red pyro goes off filling the stage. The lights shoot back on and "The Ego Killer" Eric Corrayo is standing at the top of the ramp with his smug smile. The fans begin to boo, but he doesn't care as he struts to the ring. He walks to the ring jawing back and forth with the fans. He walks up the steps and makes his way into the Cage.

Duff: This match is going to be yet another bloody carrier shorting match, I have never seen a wrestling fed that has these matches weekly.

Tex: That’s why I hate these matches, but Crazy J doesn’t care if these guys kill each other.

Taxx and Corrayo lock up and Corrayo pushes into tax and snaps him down to the ring floor. Corrayo then walks towards the weapons but Taxx sees him on the move and he runs towards him and slams his face into the cage and rubs his face. Corrayo kicks him in the groin area and Taxx backs up. Corrayo picks up a riot stick and nails Taxx over the back and sends Taxx to the ground. Taxx rolls in pain as Corrayo steps over him and put the stick under his neck and chokes him with it. Taxx is fighting to get out. Taxx grabs the ankle of Corrayo and pulls him self out and he kicks Corrayo in the back of the head and sends him to the ring floor. Taxx then takes a light tube off of the cage wall and measures up Corrayo. Eric stands up and Tax swings and connects with the left side of his face and glass and powder goes all over the ring. Taxx then throws Corrayo into the cage and then Taxx takes a pool stick off of the cage wall and swings and hits him in the back of the leg and then he jabs it into the throat of Corrayo and he gasp for air as he lays on the cage floor. Taxx then takes a trash can off of the cage and he walks towards Corrayo. Eric rolls out of the way and stands up and fights with Taxx. Corrayo then gets control of the trash can and he slams it over Taxx head and then he grabs a metal pipe and crashes it onto the trash can and after a few hits you can see Taxx body outlined in the trash can. Corrayo throws him into the steps that lead up to the next level. Corrayo kicks him as Taxx walks up the stairs as he is trying to get away. Taxx reaches the top and falls onto the glass floor. Taxx is trying his best to get out but Corrayo stands him up and throws him into the glass wall. Taxx stumbles as Eric throws him once more into the glass and this time the hard glass cracks the trash can and this allows Taxx to get out.

Tex: Holy crap that trash can just split down the side and it freed Taxx, Taxx has blood on his face. Corrayo is going to remain champion tonight.

Duff: I wouldn’t count out the former champion.

Corrayo Moves towards Taxx and he walks around him and Taxx grabs Corrayo by the throat and slams him into the cage wall a few times and blood comes from the back of his head. Corrayo chokes Taxx and the two choke each other as they fight to get the other to release. Taxx gets the upper hand and chokeslams him onto the glass floor. Taxx stands up and looks at the jacket. Corrayo stands up and stumbles as he tries to get to his feet. The two lock up and they both are tring to push the other one into the center of the glass cell to get to the jacket. Corrayo out of no where hits the Ego Trip and Taxx lays motionless as Corrayo rubs his face and then he grabs the coat and brings it over. He pulls the jacket over Taxx head and he get one arm in but Taxx starts moving before he get the other arm in so Corrayo kicks Taxx in the face a few times and Taxx is back down on the glass cell floor. Corrayo gets the arm in and then ties the straps and the bell rings.

Stormy: The winner of the match and still Asylum Champion Eric Corrayo.

After the bell has rung Eric Corrayo pulls himself up to his feet. He looks at a battered Taxx still in the straight jacket. He reaches down into the side of his boot and pulls out a small glass breaker. He smashes it a few times into the side cage. Finally the glass shatters and he pulls Taxx to the edge.

Tex: What is Eric Corrayo thinking?

Duff: Oh god, the match is over Eric. Come on you’ve already won the damn match.

Corrayo scoops Taxx up onto his shoulders and pushes him onto the top of the cage. He yells at Stormy who then throws him her microphone. He catches it and climbs to the top of the glass cage himself. Taxx is struggling, trying to get out of the straight jacket and a bunch of AWA officials are gathering around yelling for Corrayo to not doing anything stupid. Corrayo looks down and just smiles.

Eric Corrayo: You know I have been in the AWA for about a month and a half. I came in here yelling as loud as I could that I was the top wrestler in AWA from day one. I have dominated everyone that has crossed my path. I have destroyed three so called “GWA greats” in three weeks straight. But still people refuse to believe that I am the top wrestler in that locker room. And I can’t blame them, look at this pathetic piece of trash I have to face. There’s really only one thing left to do.

Tex: This is not going to be good.

Duff: For the love of god someone get up there and stop this. I think Eric Corrayo has lost his mind.

Eric Corrayo: NAILZ! I’m tired of facing the generic version. I prove nothing beating your peasant of a brother to a bloody pulp. I admit it is fun, but I’m tired of it. Next week I say we find out who is the better man. Champion Vs. Champion, Nailz Vs. Eric Corrayo. Now I’m sure Nailz with all the things going on with the Templars you have to think about it, weigh your options if facing me is worth taking your focus off them. But I can make this real easy for you Nailz.

Eric picks up Taxx who is trying to fight back, but the straight jacket is too tight. Eric kicks Taxx in the gut and then plants him with the Ego Killer. The first few layers of the glass breaks on the spot where Taxx’s head hits.

Duff: What an Ego Killer, he broke the glass with Taxx’s skull!

Tex: Eric Corrayo promised us this week he would make an impact statement and that is exactly what he has done.

Eric stands smiling over an unconscious Taxx but the lights go out and strobe lights flash as Grave stone images shine around the arena and when the lights come on Corrayo is standing on top but he is now joined by Nailz, Mack and Crazy J.

Crazy J: So Corrayo your move is called the ego killer but to be honest its your ego that is killing you.

Nailz and Mack grab him and they double team powerbomb him on the glass and the glass breaks as he falls to the glass floor. They are unhooking the jacket on Taxx as the show goes off.

Winner: Eric Corrayo
